Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin)

It’s a damn good thing this next singer ditched his CPA training in order to become the front man of one of the most legendary bands in all of Rock n’ Roll history. Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant offered the vocals for the song ‘Ramble On’ as a 21-year-old. If you’ve never heard this rendition before, I highly encourage you to scour the internet for it. It’s truly mind-boggling that a 21-year-old kid could possess a soul far beyond his years to write and sing the way Plant did. While not very obvious in Plant’s singing style, he sites Elvis as one of his main musical influences. Many have tried, but few have succeeded to reach both the commercial/critical acclaim and success of Led Zeppelin.
