“Break On Through (To The Other Side)” is a track off of The Doors self-titled first album, released in 1967. While only a minor hit as a single, the track is one of the group’s most memorable songs and helped power the album to over 13 million in sales and cult-like status. It was recorded at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California and produced by Paul Rothchild. Note that unlike some of the tracks on the album, on this track there was no bass guitar as keyboardist Ray Manzarek played the bass parts here.
