Released on Soundgarden’s 1991 album Badmotorfinger, “Rusty Cage” became the third single off the set. Frontman Chris Cornell and guitarist Kim Thayil wrote the tune. The album was recorded at Studio D in Sausalito, California, Bear Creek Studios in Woodinville, Washington, and A&M Studios in Los Angeles, California and produced by Terry Date and Soundgarden.
