Heart is an American rock band founded in Seattle, Washington in 1970, but didn’t see success unto the mid 1970’s after adding Ann and Nancy Wilson to their lineup.
Ann was the first to enter the band and quickly because the lead singer and her sister soon joined as a guitarists.
The band faced a lot of turmoil in the mid 70’s despite incredible success. There were legal battles, changes of rights and ownership, and an ultimate split up.
Ann and Nancy took control and the band’s history is virtually unmatched in music history with incredible record sales for decades to come.
