First released by Cream as a single and later appearing on 1967’s Disraeli Gears, “Strange Brew” rose to #17 on the UK Singles Chart and helped push the album to #4 in the U.S. and #5 in the UK. It was recorded at Atlantic Studios in New York City and produced by Felix Pappalardi. In this 60s recording, you can hear a lot of bleed from other tracks, including a bit of vocals.
