The Beatles released “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” on their 1968 eponymous double album (known as “the White Album”). A rare guest musician other than string and horn players (or Billy Preston) on a Beatles track, Eric Clapton turned out a classic solo here. Hard to believe today that he was uncredited on the track:
