Ronald Jenkees is a songwriter and musician who is best known for his performances on YouTube while playing the keyboard. His music ranges from electronic music to hip hop to rock and roll. In 2003, he started releasing beats and raps online under the name “Big Cheez”. After Bill Simmons from ESPN.com asked Jenkees to record his podcast theme, and then being “thumbed up” by members of the StumbleUpon community, his popularity began to grow.
He released his first studio album independently in 2007 which was titled “Ronald Jenkees”. He was featured on the STS9 album, Peaceblaster: The New Orleans Make It Right Remixes in 2009. Jenkees is know for wearing many different on his videos, thick coke bottle glasses, and has a distinctive voice and accent.
