Primus is an American funk metal band that was founded 1984. Most don’t know this, but this is the band record the the theme song for South Park.
Although South Park may not be your idea of a legacy, they are also known as the strangest top 10 bands in history.
The band is still active to this day and has a more than decent list of awards and nominations throughout their career.
They’ve had 2 platinum albums, a gold and 2 Grammy nominations. I know, nominations are not an award, but how many times have you been nominated for a Grammy? It’s a significant accomplishment when you look at the odds of simply being nominated.
