Pink Floyd were an English rock band that was founded in London in 1965. They are one of the most successful bands in history because of their unusual lyrics, psychedelic sounds, shows and incredible ability to write songs that grab the emotions of their listeners.
The band has not walked outside of controversy. In 79, with their release of The Wall, many parts of the US banned a single on that album titled as Another Brick In The Wall from being played on radio stations in the US because it created a school skipping trend that was growing like wildfire.
Th band was inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 96, and had many other awards over their years.
