Megadeth is a heavy metal band that was founded in 1983 in Los Angeles. Guitarist Dave Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson founded the band. The funny part is that Dave Mustaine had recently been fired from Metallica.
The band is firmly rooted in Thrash Metal, and is in a tight group of bands that include bands such as Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeath.
It was a long wait, but the band was finally won their first Grammy Award in 2017.
The band has had many ups and downs due to their choices in lyrics, inability to show up for concerts and bans of their music and albums on cable channels such as MTV.
