Led Zeppelin was founded in 1968 in London, England. They are an early rock band that has inspired generations of future bands, genres and music in general for over 5 years.
Their call to fame was based on the release of a hit song. Stairway to Heaven was the catalyst that propelled the band to fame. Their legacy as one of the best-selling music artists in history, with some estimating their sales of over 300 million, and the lowest estimates still top 200 million.
Pretty impressive for a bad that started off slow. After Stairway to Heaven, their sales and concerts contained to break record after record. They had obviously found their stairway to success also.
