This isolated vocal only track of Gotye’s pop radio chart topper “Somebody That I Used To Know” makes more clear the reasons it became such a colossal hit. Distinct vocals, particularly from male vocalist/mastermind Wally de Backer and female lead Kimbra make the most of this different and melodic tune. de Backer, who was born in Belgium but spent most of his life in Australia, wrote the 2011 release which went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
