Off Dream Theater’s 2009 Black Clouds & Silver Linings album, “The Best Of Times” is perhaps best known for its stellar guitar work from John Petrucci. It helped drive the album to #6 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart and to #1 on the European Top 100 Albums chart. It was produced by Petrucci and drummer Mike Portnoy and recorded at Avatar Studios in New York City.
