Christopher George Latore Wallace was professionally known as The Notorious B.I.G. and Biggie Smalls and was an American rapper, songwriter, and an actor. He was one of the fundamental influences of East Coast hip hop in the 1990’s and his influence remains even today, long after his murder in 1997 in Los Angeles. His career began when he recorded a demo tape under the name of Biggie Smalls that he called Microphone Murderer. As a result of that Demo, he was signed by Uptown records after Sean Puffy Combs arranged a meeting.
Trivia
