From Slipknot’s 2004 album Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), “Before I Forget” was also released as a single. The track won the group a Grammy Award in 2006 for Best Metal Performance and it helped the album rise to #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and go platinum in many countries. It was recorded at The Mansion in Los Angeles, California and produced by Rick Rubin.
