Slash is a world renowned guitarist and songwriter. He is widely revered as one of the best guitarists of all time. During the 1980’s and 1990’s he rose to prominence as the lead guitarist for the rock band Guns N’ Roses.
In 1965, Saul Hudson (Slash ‘s legal name) was born in Hampstead, London. His parents Saul Steinberg and Ola J. Hudson both played intricate roles in his early life. His mother was a costume designer whom had notable clients such as David Bowie, Ringo Star and and Janis Joplin. He earned the nickname Slash as a child from actor Seymour Cassel.
