Joan Jett and the Blackhearts broke out with their remake of The Arrows’ “I Love Rock And Roll” in 1981 on their same-named album. Their version hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and did well on many other world charts. The track was recorded at Kingdom Sound Studios and Soundworks Studios in New York and produced by Ritchie Cordell and Kenny Laguna.
