Jim Morrison is one of the few music legends who maintained his real name instead of a version of it or a stage name. He was born James Douglas Morrison on December 8th of 1943.
Like most extraordinary artist throughout history, his music became even more popular after his death, and is still widely played daily across classic rocks stations in the US and abroad.
He was the front man of the ever popular band “the Doors”, which is where most of his most known music and songs were created. He is one of, if not the most iconic front man in history.
Jim lived a troubled and and erratic life, which showed through in his live performances, and was likely one of the catalyst that drove his to stardom.
