“Holiday” became a single off the Green Day album American Idiot, released in 2005. The track went to #1 on Billboard’s Hot Modern Rock Tracks and Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks charts and helped drive album sales of over 13 million. It was recorded at Studio 880 in Oakland and Ocean Way Recording in Hollywood, both in California and produced by Rob Cavallo and Green Day.
