“My Hero” appeared on the Foo Fighter’s second album The Colour and the Shape. It was released as a single in 1998 and became a signature hit for the band. Even though he later moved more into the frontman role, this early Foo Fighters track featured “fresh from Nirvana” Dave Grohl on drums as Taylor Hawkins had not yet joined the band.
