Originally released in late 1975 as a single and later on the 1976 album, Station To Station, David Bowie’s “Golden Years” became a Top 10 hit.  Bowie was reportedly one of the first white artists to appear on the “Soul Train” music show in the U.S. performing this track.  Written by Bowie, with production by he and David Maslin, it was recorded at Cherokee Studios in Hollywood in October of 1975.
