“Buddy Holly” appeared on Weezer’s self-titled debut album released in 1994. It reached #2 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks chart and helped propel the album to over 4 million in sales and a #16 peak on the Top 200 Albums chart. The track was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York and produced by Ric Ocasek of The Cars.
