The White Stripes’ track “Seven Nation Army” was a top charting single off the Elephant album, which was released in 2003. The tune reached #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, won a Grammy Award in 2004 for Best Rock Song, and propelled the album to over 2 million in sales. Group founder Jack White produced the album himself on an old 8 track recorder and other vintage recording gear, recording it at Toe Rag Studios in London, England.
