“Hypnotize” appeared on System Of A Down’s 2005 same-titled release, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. It was the second half of the Mezmerize/Hypnotize double album release with the first part also debuting at #1. To date the album has sold over 8 million copies. The tune was written by Daron Malakian and Serj Tankian, with the track being produced by Malakian and Rick Rubin.
