Jeff Buckley, also knows as Scottie Moorhead was a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, Ca. He was born November 17th of 1966.
He started out as a session guitarist, and was active in that space for over a decade. It must have taken some time to find himself as a performer because he actively avoided producing music for any record labels even though his father was already active in the industry.
He finally gave in and made the leap and recorded his first studio album in 1994 with his release of “Grace” under the Columbia label.
He toured several years after that release, and eventually went back to starting a new album that was only finished after his death in a swimming accident in the Mississippi River in Memphis in 97.
Almost all of his successes in music was after his passing. His music is still popular to this day and many of his songs were released post posthumous.
