Guns N’ Roses, or GNR as they are lovingly known among their rebellious, yet loyal fans, started in 1985.
The band signed with Geffen records in ’86 and the following year, Appetite for Destruction was released and was an instant success. “Sweet Child o’ Mine”, one of their 3 top 10 songs from it hit number one and stayed for quit some time.
Even with massive success and headlining major venues globally, the bad had their issues. Their lead singer, Axel Rose was troublesome for the band, walking off the stage at live shows or not showing at all caused major problems for the band and their label.
