Distrubed covered Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound Of Silence” and released it on the groups’ 2015 album Immortalized. The track became a hit, rising to #1 on the Billboard Hard Rock Digital Songs]and Mainstream Rock charts, and #42 on the Billboard Hot 100 and also reportedly drawing praise from songwriter Paul Simon. It was recorded at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada and was produced by Kevin Churko.
