“Children Of The Grave” is a track from Black Sabbath’s 1971 album Master of Reality. Due to a hand injury suffered by guitarist Tony Iommi a few years earlier, he downtuned his guitar three semi-tones to reduce string tension and make it easier to play. The resulting heavier, darker sounding album sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. and helped spearhead detuning. The album was produced by Rodger Bain and recorded at Island Studios in London.
