Red Hot Chili Peppers | Give It Away (multitrack)

“Give It Away” appeared on the Red Hot Chili Peppers 1991 release Blood Sugar Sex Magik.  Produced by Rick Rubin, the album was the first the group did with the producer who went on to work with them on several more successful recordings.  The track and entire album was recorded at the iconic magician Harry Houdini’s house, into which Rubin brought in recording equipment.  This was an experiment to give the band a creative atmosphere in which to work.  The track went to #1 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks chart in 1991.
