Eagles released “Take It Easy” in 1972 on their debut Eagles album. The track rose to #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has become one of the Eagles’ signature tunes. This version is from the live Hell Freezes Over live concert DVD recorded in 1994. It was recorded at Warner Burbank Studios in Burbank, California and was produced by Eagles, Elliot Scheiner, Rob Jacobs, and Stan Lynch.

Yes, likely an alternate take. Definitely not the vocal from the final master, as the vocals (and words) are different on this one. Thanks for posting this track!
This is awesome! But I’m not sure this the final take (compare, for example, the vocals on the outro of the finished version). Could this be from a demo or an earlier take? Incredible harmonies either way!
Editor note: Thanks for the comment and, agreed, the harmonies are amazing! You could be right that this is a demo but it’s hard to tell. Remember this was recorded in 1971-1972 and it could just be that these are the raw, no effect tracks.
