Released in 1977 on the Saturday Night Fever movie soundtrack album, “Stayin’ Alive” went to #1 in the U.S. and on almost every major world single chart. The single alone sold over 4 million copies, with the newly released Bee Gees album selling a staggering 40 million copies globally. The track was recorded at Château d’Hérouville in Hérouville, France and produced by the Bee Gees, Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson.
VOCALS only (Barry Gibb, Maurice Gibb, Robin Gibb):
A wonderful site. Isn’t it brilliant to hear everything broken down. I am amazed by some of the harmony vocals, especially with the Bee Gees. Can you tell me, is it possible to hear the harmony vocals anywhere isolated from the main vocals?
Many thanks
Editor note: Thanks for visiting! Bee Gees tracks are definitely all about the harmonies of the brothers. Hard to find only backgrounds without Barry on this one though but we’ll keep an eye out…
