The Who covered Eddie Cochran’s classic “Summertime Blues” on their 1970 album Live at Leeds. The track went to #27 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart and #38 on the UK Singles chart. It was recorded at the University of Leeds in the U.K. and produced by Kit Lambert and Chris Stamp.
