Released on Queen’s 1991 album Innuendo, “The Show Must Go On” was one of the last recorded by late vocalist Freddie Mercury. With semi-autobiographical lyrics chronicling Mercury’s struggles with the illness that would claim his life only ten months after the album on which it appeared was released, the track rose as high as #40 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. It was produced by Queen and David Richards and recorded at Metropolis Studios in London and Mountain Studios in Montreux, Switzerland.

is heartbreaking, knowing all the effort he put to sing till the end. We love you Freddie.
Thank you for this, truly amazing. I cannot listen without crying. Without a doubt the most talented person to ever pick up a microphone. Very few singers could ever hope to sing with this power and passion, and Fred did it while he was dying. Just imagine if Freddie walked out on stage at American idol or something and blew everyone away, would remind the kids what real talent is. RIP.
Editor note: Thanks for the comment. One of the greatest of all time no doubt and such a tragic loss. Some great tracks left behind for us to enjoy though! RIP indeed…
