The Lynyrd Skynyrd classic “Freebird” was released in 1973 on the band’s debut album. The track was recorded in April 1973 at Studio One in Doraville, Georgia. It was produced by Al Kooper and rose to #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
