“The Cinema Show” appeared on the 1973 Genesis album Selling England by the Pound, their fifth studio release. The album rose to the #3 spot in the U.K. Albums Chart and also went into the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, before much later going Gold (100,000 sold) in the U.S. Recorded at Island Studios in London, it was produced by Genesis and John Burns.
